This month has been a whirlwind and I feel so vibrant with all the happenings in my life. I wanted to share an update with ALL the things that have been swirling through my life.
First. I wanted to be sure you all knew about my big showcase coming up next week. I have been invited to showcase my paintings and zines at the RAW:Denver REFLECT Show at the Church Nightclub, Feb 7th from 6:30 – 11:30. The latest issue of 52 Feathers is also out now and features the wise and noble Owl. Each week I am constantly amazed and just how rich the lore, myth, and symbolism for each kind of bird is. There is more than I could ever cover, even if I was writing a giant tome versus a sweet and colorful eight page zine. I did manage to cover the pieces I thought were the most magical and compelling. The visions continued to unfold in such surprising ways on Sunday at the Mmmwhah! Art Visioning Playshop. This last week focused on activation and we added movement and flesh to our spectacular spectacles. There is still one more playshop left in this series and anyone is welcome to join us on Sunday from 2-4 at the Boulder Circus Center.
